Retire with traceability.
CRIOS is built around per-plant provenance: no pooling of generation across sites, an append-only issuance record, and a public receipt for every unit. Hold · retire (pilot) · trading follows regulatory clearance.
Every unit traces back to a single plant's metered generation for a single period. Nothing is blended across sites.
Issuance events are written once and never revised in place. Retirement certificates are timestamped and verifiable at a public URL.
Trading is not available today. No tokens are for sale and no funds settle. Trading follows regulatory clearance.

What backs every unit.
Every retirement traces to a single underlying issuance event and its full provenance receipt — plant, period, metered kWh, and the official displacement factor applied.
